To all CAIP members,

Re: Program enhancements effective March 1, 2011

We are very pleased to advise you that 2012 will be 30 years that Armstrong-McCready Inc. and the Canadian Athlete Insurance Program (CAIP) has been serving the Canadian Sport Community.  First and foremost, we would like to take this opportunity to extend a thank you to all the CAIP members who have supported and benefited from this program over the years.  CAIP has certainly evolved over the years to become the premier provider of specialized medical insurance to Canadian Athletes at all levels and in all sports.

We are very proud of the fact that we have been able to continue and even expand on the “Overuse” benefit.  Overuse coverage has been unique to CAIP since the beginning and has always been the most popular and sought after benefit amongst Canada’s athletes. Additionally, we have been able to maintain our original commitment to provide the same level of insurance coverage and at the same rates to all Canadian athletes regardless of their sporting activity.

Please be advised that effective March 1st, 2011, the following enhancements to the CAIP program have taken effect.  We confirm that the premium rates remain unchanged.

As many of you are aware, CAIP is available to all Canadian Athletes, Coaches, Managers and Officials who are members of a sport governing body.  A sport governing body can be a National Sport Organization, Provincial Sport Organization, Canadian Sport Center, Sport Teams, Leagues or Clubs.  Anyone of these sport bodies can contact us directly to arrange CAIP insurance for their members.

CAIP has certainly evolved and expanded over the years.  To summarize, we show below some of the highlights of CAIP:

We hope you find these coverage enhancements helpful.  Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
